Protect what you have built

Pool Deck Maintenance Plan

A one-year, two-visit maintenance plan that keeps your pool deck clean, protected and looking the way it was intended.

Sealed marble pool deck

Why this plan exists

Your pool deck is an ongoing asset

You invested in your pool deck to elevate your outdoor space, create a place to relax and add value to your home.

What many homeowners do not realize is that without proper maintenance, that same surface begins to deteriorate faster than expected. Sun exposure, moisture, pool chemicals and organic buildup work continuously in the background. What starts as small discoloration can turn into deep staining, surface wear and costly restoration.

This maintenance plan exists for one reason: to protect your investment and keep your pool deck looking refined and consistent year-round.

Crew cleaning a marble pool deck

Why maintenance matters

A pool deck is not a one-time project

Without proper care, surfaces begin to absorb moisture, allowing mold, algae and stains to develop. Sealers break down, colors fade and materials lose their integrity.

For high-end materials such as marble and premium pavers, this becomes even more critical. Once damage sets in, replacement is not only expensive, but often difficult to match. Consistent maintenance prevents this cycle.

Pool deck maintenance visit

What your deck receives

Controlled, professional care twice a year

This is a bi-annual maintenance plan designed to keep your deck at a high standard throughout the year. Each visit is focused on prevention, preservation and surface longevity. This is not a quick cleaning.

  • Mold, algae and mildew
  • Weed growth between joints
  • Leaf stains and organic buildup
  • Rust stains and discoloration
  • General surface maintenance as needed

Stay ahead

With a plan vs without one

Most homeowners wait until the problem is visible. By then it costs more to fix.

With a maintenance plan

  • You avoid deep staining
  • You reduce long-term wear
  • You preserve the integrity of the material
  • You prevent premature restoration or replacement
  • Your pool area always looks clean, refined and well maintained

Without maintenance

  • Surfaces begin to fade unevenly
  • Moisture penetrates and weakens the material
  • Stains become harder or impossible to remove
  • Sealers break down faster than expected
  • Repairs become more complex and more expensive

FAQ

Maintenance plan questions

How often should my pool deck be maintained?

Most pool decks benefit from professional maintenance every 6 months. This helps prevent buildup, staining and early surface deterioration, especially in Florida's climate.

What happens if I skip maintenance?

Without regular care, your deck becomes more vulnerable to moisture, stains, algae and sealer breakdown. Over time, this leads to deeper damage and higher restoration costs.

What surfaces are covered in this maintenance plan?

This plan is designed for pavers and natural stone surfaces such as marble. Each material is treated with the appropriate methods to ensure proper care and protection.

Is sealing included in the plan?

This plan focuses on maintaining and preserving the surface between major services. Sealing can be recommended when needed, based on the condition of your deck.

How do I know if my deck needs sealing again?

If water no longer beads on the surface, colors appear faded or stains form more easily, the protection may be wearing off. Our team can evaluate and guide you.

What is the rescheduling policy?

A minimum of 48-hour notice is required to reschedule. If not rescheduled within that period, a fifty dollar fee may apply.

What happens if I cancel a scheduled visit?

Cancellations made within three days of the scheduled service are subject to a fee based on your deposit, as outlined in the agreement.

Do I need to be home during the service?

In most cases, you do not need to be present as long as we have access to the area.

What is the difference between this plan and a one-time cleaning?

This plan is proactive. It maintains your surface consistently, preventing long-term damage and reducing overall costs instead of reacting to problems later.

Is this plan worth it if my deck still looks good?

Yes. Maintenance is most effective before visible damage appears. Keeping your surface in good condition is always more cost-effective than restoring it later.
